Are you a creative, enthusiastic educator who loves working with kids and inspiring a love of learning? Morton Public Library is looking for a friendly, community-focused individual to join our Youth Services team!
In this role, you’ll:
· Plan and lead engaging programs for elementary-aged children, including homeschool groups
· Build connections through outreach visits to local schools and community organizations
· Help families and young readers discover great books and library resources
We’re seeking someone with teaching, classroom or child-care experience, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for working with children. If you enjoy connecting with young learners and creating fun, educational experiences, we’d love to meet you!

This is a part-time position of 24-32 hours per week, including one Saturday per month.
Schedule
Tuesday 9am - 4pm | Wednesday 9am - 3pm | Thursday 9am - 3pm | Friday 1-6pm

Qualifications

Associate's degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
